Dark violet and brilliant purple color. Good complexity in the nose with typical Malbec aromas of ripe fruits such as figs, plums, blackberries and marmaledes. Notes of vanilla, tobacco, coffee and chocolate. Full bodied red wine with sweet tannins, good structure and a long finish.
Santa Julia is a clear example of the combination of the quality and diversity of Mendocinian soils, resulting in modern wines. Among its diverse range of grape varieties we find the classic Malbec, Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as other rather unconventional varieties in Argentina such as Viognier, Pinot Grigio or Tempranillo.
